The most memorable part of our wedding day was our ceremony. Our officiant John played a huge role in making it feel intimate, authentic to our story, sweet and heartfelt while also light and funny. We felt totally at ease working with John as he got to know us as a couple, rolled with all our quirks and bad jokes, and heard about our love story through our friends and family (who raved about our ceremony nonstop!)
I think that’s what makes John so unique, he got to know us and our love story in a multifaceted way. He definitely did his homework on us, from reading through our proposal story to blessing us in Polish! The questions and prompts he shared with me and my husband prior to the ceremony made writing vows feel so natural and real to us both.
I will never forget how he made ourselves and our guests feel so interconnected that day, even guests who knew me or my husband to a lesser extent shared they felt closer to us. I remember other guests reminiscing how the ceremony made them, quite literally, weep. I certainly did.
